Silent Key QRT

It is with great sadness to announce that 2RG 312 Seattle Joe has gone Silent Key. Joe was a caring and excellent radio operator. He was an asset to his community and the Romeo Golf DX Club. Joe was ready and willing to volunteer for any job to help his fellow Romeo Golf members. He was the Washington state coordinator and had been chosen Romeo Golf Operator of the year for 2024. In my books Joe was top rate and will be missed by many. Miss Jess and I will pray for healing and comfort for Joe's family, loved ones and friends as we all work our way through this loss and grief.

The Romeo Golf DX Club will hold a memorial, in honor of 2RG 312 Joe Ortega, Wednesday November 26, 2025 beginning at 1PM Eastern time on frequency 27.355LSB. This will be 2RG 312 Joe's last call. Make your call and give your farewell transmission in memory of our dear friend and Romeo Golf Brother. God's speed Joe.
